On behalf of McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, welcome to our website. We hope that you will find our site informative and helpful in making healthcare decisions for yourself and your loved ones.

In 1955 McKenzie-Willamette opened our doors to the community, and throughout our 55-year history our commitment has remained steadfast -- to improve our community’s health and quality of life, and care for our patients in extraordinary ways. This commitment means that we strive to bring advances in medicine and medical technology to our community, along with highly trained, competent staff, and patient-centered partnerships with excellent physicians.

In 2006 we became the first hospital south of Portland to offer minimally invasive robotic surgery for both men’s and women’s surgeries. In 2007 we opened the Heart Center and began offering comprehensive Heart services, including open heart surgery. In 2009 we developed our Heart Associates of Oregon cardiology group. In 2010 we enhanced our heart program by partnering with the prominent Starr-Wood Group which allows us to provide a full array of cardiac surgical services in our Heart Center. The Starr-Wood surgeons have performed more than 12,000 open heart surgeries.

Recognizing a need in the community for wound care, we opened the Advanced Wound Healing Center in December 2009.  Our center is a physician-led wound program and the first in our area to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy. In 2010 we expanded our hyperbaric program by adding two additional hyperbaric chambers, bringing the total number of chambers to four.
Our Emergency Room services consistently offer wait times of less than 30 minutes from door to doctor and we rank in the 97th percentile for patients who would definitely recommend our services to family and friends.

McKenzie-Willamette recognizes our responsibility to continually improve our services to the community and to contribute to the good health of those we serve by offering advancements in technology and compassionate care.
