 “Celebrating Our Local Heroes” Event

Springfield, OR. In commemoration of September 11, McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is holding the third annual “Celebrating Our Local Heroes” barbecue luncheon this Friday, September 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This event is our way of saying “thank you” to our local firefighters, police officers and emergency medical technologists for their dedication and commitment, and for the lives they protect and save every day.

All Lane County police, fire and emergency medical services are invited this barbecue luncheon, prepared and catered by Wildflowers Café and Chef Jonathan McMahan, to be held on the east lawn of the hospital.
