McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center will be participating in a Disaster Drill on Monday, November 17. Students from a local high school Drama Department will act as journalists and victims to help us carry out this drill.
We continue to work closely with local emergency response agencies both for drill and preparation purposes, as well as in a real event.
- In the case of a disaster or emergency event, McKenzie-Willamette will post updates on this website — if power is available.
- If power is lost, McKenzie-Willamette will coordinate with local emergency response agencies and news media to provide updates. Both have systems for continuing to communicate even during events resulting in a loss of power locally.
- As privacy laws allow (and providing power is available), information about disaster victims who are hospital patients would be posted here as well.
