You have been scheduled for a procedure at McKenzie Willamette Medical Center. If you do not hear from the Centralized Scheduling Department within 48 hours, please call 541-744-6000 to schedule your appointment with the pre-admission Registered Nurse.

We are able to see you for this appointment within 30 days of your scheduled procedure. This will allow us to obtain any testing necessary to clear you for your surgical procedure. These tests may include laboratory testing, blood and/or urine, and an EKG and heart rate.  You may also visit with the anesthesiologist.  Plan on about an hour and a half for your total appointment time.

Once your appointment is scheduled you should receive a phone call from our insurance and benefits staff with information about any copays for which you might be responsible.

On the day of your appointment, please check in through the Emergency entrance with Patient Registration.

Please bring:

•  A current list of your medications, vitamins, supplements and herbals-include the names, dosages and times you take these medications. If you need help, bring the medication bottles.
• On the day of your surgery, check in again through the Emergency Department entrance at Patient Registration. They will direct you from there.
• Also Bring
• The times you took your medications on the day of your surgery.
• Your CPAP equipment

Please DO NOT bring:

• valuables (other than your copay)
• jewelry, including piercings. Please remove all your rings.
• your actual medications unless directed to do so for information. We will send them home with family.
