Auxiliary members and other volunteers contribute thousands of hours each year providing services that make life a little more pleasant for both patients and staff, such as staffing the gift shop, delivering flowers and mail to patients, and providing receptionist services at both the G Street and ER lobbies.
Volunteers are needed in areas such as the Emergency Department, Medical Units, the Recovery Room and the Surgery Reception Desk. Currently, the hospital especially needs volunteers to participate in day time 4-hour shifts. Volunteers may donate their time on a regular basis or choose a on-call approach.
