The Enterostomal (ET) or Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOCN ) nurse provides care for clients needing treatment and education as on outpatient, inpatient or in extended care or home health services on a contracted basis. A certified Registered Nurse is available to consult with physicians regarding therapy recommendations for care of patient’s stoma, wounds, fistula, ulcers (pressure, vascular, and neuropathic), diabetic foot care and incontinence management.
