From the brain to the spinal cord to the nerves and muscles body-wide, neurology deals with the study and treatment of disorders of the nervous system. Cardiology deals with the study and treatment of disorders of one of the most important muscles in the body—the heart. At McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, we are proud to work with an experienced team of physicians and medical professionals including accredited electroencephalogram technicians, registered echo sonographers and certified cardiovascular technicians, to provide a variety of services to treat these vital bodily systems.
Our EEG (Electroencephalogram) lab is the first in Oregon to earn the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic & Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) accreditation. It is also the only accredited EEG lab in Oregon.
The clinic is open around the clock for emergency testing. Appointments are available for non-emergency studies from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. A physician's order is required for diagnostic testing.
