McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center receives 2021 Environmental Excellence Award
(Springfield, OR 7/26/21) – McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center earned the 2021 Environmental Excellence Award from Practice Greenhealth for their continued commitment to sustainability in healthcare. This award recognizes MWMC ongoing practice to improve our environmental performance footprint and our efforts to build sustainability into all operations at our medical center. McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is the only recipient of the award in Lane County.
The Environmental Excellence Awards are the nation’s premier recognition program for environmental performance in the health care sector. Launched in 2002, the awards program recognizes health care facilities and health systems for their commitment to environmental stewardship and their sustainability achievements.

McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is a 113-bed community hospital accredited by The Joint Commission.
