SAFETY FIRST:
VISITOR POLICY UPDATE March 1, 2021
To protect the health and safety of our patients and caregivers, the following visitor guidelines have been implemented.
All visitors are required to:
- Wear a face mask while in the building.
- Maintain a social distance of 6 feet from others.
- Be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon entry. If you are experiencing symptoms, you may be requested to not visit.
- Patients not in any type of contact isolation precautions for example who are not under investigation for or do not have COVID-19, will be allowed ONE (1) designated visitor over the age of 17 per day. TWO (2) visitors over the age of 17 may be allowed per day on a case-by-case basis for:
- End-of-life visits
- Parents or legal guardians of a patient who is a minor
- Women’s health, birth and children’s center
- Patients who are in any type of contact isolation precautions including but not limited to patients who are under investigation for or have confirmed COVID-19, may not receive visitors except as out lined below:
- TWO (2) visitors per day for patients receiving end-of-life care
- TWO (2) parents or legal guardians per day for minor patients
- ONE (1) legal guardian per day of an adult patient
- ONE (1) support person per day for a patient with disability
- ONE (1) spouse or caregiver per day of a patient undergoing a procedure or surgery
- TWO (2) support person for the entire stay on women’s health and birth center
- Wash your hands when entering and exiting your loved one’s room
- Follow all instructions from staff
